Friends of The Junction Arts Festival 2005

About the Organizers

The Junction Arts Festival is produced and managed by The Junction Forum for Arts
and Culture (JFAC) is devoted to bringing arts and culture to The Junction, one of the
city’s oldest and most historically significant communities.
The JFAC has been organizing various arts based shows and exhibits in the community for more than 13 years. The Junction Business Improvement Association also supports the festival year after year with an injection of financial resources and hands on involvement. There are
more than 175 businesses in the Junction that range from national chain retailers, professional offices to unique family owned boutiques providing a variety of products and services to the community and visitors to the Junction.

Audience:
• 52.6% of Festival attendees are between 25 to 54 years of age
• 26.1% of Festival attendees are 24 years of age and younger
• 21.3% of Festival attendees are 55 years of age and over
• 69% of attendees have a college education or higher

Household Stats
• 30% have average household incomes between $20,000 to $49,999
• 32.9% have average household incomes between $50,000 to $99,999
• 22.6% have average household incomes of $100,000 and over
• 52.1% own their home
• 47.9 rent their dwelling
• 43.9% of couples have children
• 38% of couples do not have children
• 18.1% are lone-parents
