Chekhov Vaudevilles by the Hart House Drama Society

"Zed Pitkin’s production is very Chekhovian,
I mean energetic, colourful, enriched with unexpected and beautiful dancing.
I am sure Russian community will like it very much."

The Hart House Drama Society is pleased to present three Chekhov Vaudevilles – The Bear, The Proposal, and The Evils of Tobacco as its annual mentorship show. Each year the HHDS pairs student actors, designers, and technicians with Toronto theatre professionals to produce the show. This year director Zed Pitkin leads the cast of actors and technicians.

The Vaudevilles have something for everyone: complexly stupid characters, dancing, death, heart attacks, and heartache, and a whole lot of fun!
