This event is one of the hidden treasures of Toronto when the Community Folk Art Council of Toronto brings together dozens of different ethnic community Easter displays at the annual Easter Around the World Festival.
When: Sunday, April 1, 2007

- Join the Community Folk Arts Council of Toronto for the 42st annual "Easter Around the World" celebrations.
- 18 different communities from Macedonia, Russia (the Russian Canadian Cultural Aid Society), Serbia, Hungary, Madeira, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Slovak Republic, and others will be displaying their Easter customs: treats, costumes, music and exhibits.
- See how these groups celebrate Easter with special events and customs.
- Learn egg decorating techniques, buy baked goods like Easter breads and cakes from different countries, and learn about various Easter traditions.
