September Events and Workshops at Wise Daughters' Craft Market
There’s something happening here...
Taking stock of how this adventure has played out over its first 8 months, I am quite amazed by just how much creative activity there has been at the shop. Wise Daughters has built up a talented roster of local artists, craftspeople and workshop instructors. There are now about 50 artists supplying the shop!
We’ve had workshops on everything from quilling and journaling to felt sculpture, mosaics, bookbinding and storytelling. There are lots of new offerings coming up this fall, plus the return of our most popular workshops.
I’m thrilled by how many repeat customers attend, but also by how the workshops attract such a diversity of participants from all over the GTA and beyond. Mums and sons, dads and daughters, friends and strangers – each expressing their individuality through art and crafts. Keep checking the website for new workshop listings for fall.
The summer kids’ camps have inspired more programming for children and families, and I look forward to all that youthful exuberance and artistic inhibition. Coming later this fall... crafting just for boys and parent/child craft sessions. And for the young at heart, arts & crafts "camp" for grown-ups.
