A week later than usual this month, it’s time to announce another West End Web event in The Junction. Next Wednesday, October 28th from 7-9pm the web savvy and web curious alike will meet up at Latitude 44 Gallery for discussion and networking.
This month’s theme is loosely photography, and additionally framing and galleries shows to make the most of our venue. Featured discussion will include archival photographer Dave Katulic sharing some tips on photography for posterity and the web, Janet DiBernardo with some basics on framing and Latitude’s gallery operations, and I will try to tie all back to the overarching web theme by talking about online promotion for gallery showings.
The aim with the West End Web events is to make them as accessible as possible. Whether or not photography or the arts are your field of work or interest, there is lots to learn from the other participants. As always, the discussion is open and there is ample opportunity for questions and general networking. There will be light refreshments served.
